On this page, the organizers will add information about how to take on some helpers roles for the event (facilitation, technical support, etc.).
Facilitation slots

During the online program of the conference, we will need some help with facilitation of the sessions. The facilitators commit to one slot (ideally two people per slot) and will attend a briefing session ahead of the event so they can get familiar with the tool we will use (still to be determined).
The main roles of the facilitators are to make sure that the session is running smoothly, keeping track of the time, introducing the speakers, facilitating the transition from presentation to Q&A if needed, interacting with the speaker (for example to read out loud some questions asked in the chat), and keeping an eye on the chat to spot possible questions or issues. The facilitators are not expected to perform technical tasks (livestream, videorecording, etc.), which belong to another role.
If you are willing to take a facilitation shift, please add your username in the table below before October 8th EOD. Beforehand, make sure that you looked at the program (TBA) to see what sessions you'd be responsible for during your shift, and make sure that you are available at that time. We will then contact you by email to share some documentation and invite you to a briefing meeting.
