Cluttered Category:Help-en & Category:Help

• Category:Help and subcats are cluttered with translated pages making it far less overseeable and exhausting to go through the pages. On meta and Commons there are the same problem but they can be fixed manually so I suggest the same is done there. See the solution at Enable subcategorizing translated pages on Commons & Metawiki (it also needs the pages to be marked for translation by a translation admin).

• Category:Wikidata:Tools is also cluttered. Pages like Wikidata:Entity Explosion need the cat changed like so I think if it works like on Commons, [[Category:Wikidata:Tools{{#translation:}}]] and then the page be marked for translation. Could somebody help with this / do this? (copied partially from Wikidata:Project chat)

I wonder a bit what the point of having these categories is when users let them become so cluttered and unoverseeable. It seems like the pages are scattered between those two categories so one basically needs to go to both categories to see all the help pages and that is not self-explanatory so most people would just look at one or the other but not both. An index of help pages is something that new users probably benefit a lot and often need. Users here probably know more about what the best way to unclutter these categories is so I'm asking here. It has been 2 days with no reply. I tried to look on this matter but I myself do not understand how to declutter the page. I request help from translation admin (and admin) who perhaps understand the workings of category pages. CC @Samoasambia and @Lymantria, kindly help us in resolving this matter (or your opinion). Help with interlanguage link

I have translated a page from English to Urdu, but there is no interlanguage link for some reason. The wikidata page which I need to edit in order to add the interlanguage link is semiprotected. And since I mainly edit Urdu Wikipedia, I don't have enough edits for permission to edit the wikidata page (I believe only english wikipedia edits are counted)wikipedia). علی ارتضٰی (talk) 02:39, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
